Red cedar from Western Canada. This wood is naturally antibacterial and corrosion-resistant. It can be used for a long time in a humid environment without being easily rotted or damaged. It also has a fine and uniform texture and color, from light reddish brown to deep red. Brown, showing natural beauty, lightweight and easy to process, and can emit fragrance.
Hemlock from North America also has natural antibacterial and corrosion-resistant properties. Hemlock has a relatively high density and is more solid and stable than red cedar. Hemlock has a more uniform appearance and is usually light yellow to light in color. Brown, the texture is relatively simple.
Both types of wood have good insulating properties. In a sauna, using red cedar or hemlock can help maintain a stable indoor temperature and provide a more comfortable sauna experience.
